Krishnarao Sitaram Desai Shikshan Mandal’s S. K. Patil Sindhudurg Mahavidyalaya, Malvan, Dist. Sindhudurg was established in 1965 and it is one of the well known colleges in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. It has celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year in 2015-16. It is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The college is re-accredited with B+ Grade by NAAC and is recognized by UGC under 2f and 12b.

The college offers three undergraduate courses-B. A., B. Com. and B. Sc. on grant basis. It has big and specious library with good collection of rare books and well equipped laboratories.
